本华人社区是一个邻里社区(Neighborhood Community)，成员以BRSSD校区的华人居民为主。BRSCC 华人社区为当地华人提供生活、子女教育等方面的服务，是非盈利、非商业性、非功利的社区组织。本社区是一个真名实姓、实实在在的群体。请大家共同维护良性的社区氛围。本社区由社区志愿者群体组成的理事会来组织和管理，现有15人。

BRSCC is established to serve the Chinese Americans and immigrants within the area of Belmont, Redwood Shores, and San Carlos. Specifically, BRSCC shall facilitate mutual benefits among community members, promote Chinese cultures within the community, advocate the rights and interests of the community as whole, and contribute to other residents or public interest within the area.
